The Travel Tour Expo 2015

The Travel Tour Expo 2015

MANILA, Philippines - The biggest and most awaited Travel Tour Expo will once again be held at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City on Feb. 13, 14 and 15, 2015.
Already in its 22nd year and organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), next year’s travel event will occupy the entire SMX exhibition halls; all four halls of the main floor and the five function rooms on the second floor.
In 2015, the PTAA will be staging the biggest travel event yet in the history of Philippine tourism with over 262 exhibitors spread throughout 16,180 square meters of exhibition floor space and more than 700 exhibition booths. This will be the biggest travel event organized by the association and the biggest in the country so far. Aside from the usual mix of domestic tour operators, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, airlines, national tourism organizations and other stakeholders in the tourism industry, this event is expected to be participated in by other sectors in the industry such as those in the field of medical tourism.
The travel expo, which showcases the products and services of its members at a bargain, was conceptualized by the PTAA in 1994 and has since evolved into a much-awaited annual industry event covering practically all segments of the travel business, making it the biggest event for the travel and tourism industry.
In February 2014, more than 70,000 visitors came to grab the best travel deals offered by the participating airlines, travel agents, hotels and resorts. The 2014 expo featured various destinations in the country and all over the world. Adding spice to the event were entertainment numbers, cultural presentations from different countries, company giveaways and raffle prizes that were enjoyed by the visitors to the fair.
